Fidelity's account history is built for record keeping, not for reviewing trades. Download it as a CSV, upload it to EdgeDojo, and your buys and sells become trades with entry, exit, fees, and P&L that you can tag, annotate, and analyze.
The same export works whether you trade on fidelity.com or Active Trader Pro.
Tips for journaling Fidelity trades
- Export one account at a time. The All Accounts download uses different columns.
- Upload the file as it downloads. Fidelity adds header and disclaimer lines that EdgeDojo expects to see untouched.
- Tag long-term holdings separately from active trades, so your trading stats are not diluted by positions you never meant to trade.
How to import your Fidelity trades
- 1 Log in at fidelity.com and open Accounts & Trade → Portfolio.
- 2 Select a single account (not All Accounts), then open Activity & Orders → History.
- 3 Set the date range, then click the Download icon to save the CSV.
- 4 In EdgeDojo, open Journal → Import Trades → CSV (Smart Import) and upload the file.
- Fidelity history goes back about five years. Upload the file as it downloads.
