Bitso is Latin America's best-known exchange, with spot markets in Mexican pesos and other local currencies. EdgeDojo connects with a read-only Bitso API key and imports your spot fills, with P&L and fees on every trade.
Sync after your session instead of piecing trades together from account statements.
Tips for journaling Bitso trades
- Bitso keys are created on the website, not the app, and 2FA must be on first. You can hold up to six active keys.
- Record whether each trade was a peso pair or a stablecoin pair. Mixing them makes your P&L hard to read.
- Review your fees by month. Small spot trades in local currency can pay a high share of fees.
How to sync your Bitso trades
- 1 Log in to Bitso (https://bitso.com) on the web and turn on two-factor authentication if it is not on yet.
- 2 Hover over your name, select Profile, then API, and click Add new API key.
- 3 Name the key and enable only View balances and View account information. Do not enable Place orders, Perform security actions, or Make withdrawals.
- 4 Click Add new API key, enter your 2FA code, and copy the API key and secret. The secret is shown only once.
- 5 In EdgeDojo, open Journal โ Import Trades โ Connected accounts, choose Bitso, paste the credentials and click Connect & sync.
