OKX covers spot, perpetual swaps, and futures in one unified account, and EdgeDojo imports all of them. Connect with a read-only API key and each sync turns your latest fills into trades with entry, exit, fees, and P&L.
Traders on MyOKX in the EEA can connect the same way.
Tips for journaling OKX trades
- Use one journal for spot and derivatives, then filter by symbol to see whether you perform best in spot or with leverage.
- Record why you entered, not just where. Perp setups that look identical on the chart often have different reasons behind them.
- Review trades by hour of entry. Liquidity on OKX shifts with Asian, European, and US hours.
How to sync your OKX trades
- 1 Log in to OKX and open Profile → API and connections (app: Menu → API).
- 2 Click Create API key, pick the Account to connect, and leave the IP allowlist empty.
- 3 Give the key read-only / view permission only. Do not enable trading, transfers, or withdrawals. EdgeDojo only reads your trade history.
- 4 Under Permissions tick Read only. Leave Trade and Withdraw unticked.
- 5 Set an API passphrase and save it. OKX can't show it again, and you'll paste it below.
- 6 Copy the API key, Secret key and Passphrase into the matching fields.
- 7 In EdgeDojo, open Journal → Import Trades → Connected accounts, choose OKX, paste the credentials and click Connect & sync.
- Funding payments are not imported from OKX yet, so perp P&L excludes funding.
