BitTrade, formerly Huobi Japan, is a Japanese exchange with a long list of yen pairs. EdgeDojo connects with a BitTrade API key set to read only and imports your spot fills, with P&L and fees on every trade.
Sync after your session and the trades are ready to review.
Tips for journaling BitTrade trades
- BitTrade keys default to 読取 (read). Do not tick 取引 or 出金 when you create it.
- BitTrade's trade history API only reaches back about 120 days. Sync at least every few months so nothing falls out of range.
- Tag exchange fills and simple purchases differently. Spreads on instant buys can hide real costs.
How to sync your BitTrade trades
- 1 Log in to BitTrade (https://www.bittrade.co.jp) and go to マイページ > API.
- 2 Click APIキーを作成 (Create API key).
- 3 Keep the default 読取 (read) permission. Do not tick 取引 or 出金.
- 4 Copy the API key and secret key. The secret is only shown when you create the key.
- 5 In EdgeDojo, open Journal → Import Trades → Connected accounts, choose BitTrade, paste the credentials and click Connect & sync.
