Bitvavo is a Dutch exchange licensed under MiCA by the AFM and one of Europe's biggest euro spot markets. EdgeDojo connects with a Bitvavo API key that has only View access and imports your spot fills, with P&L and fees on every trade.
Sync after your session and review your trades in euros, in one place.
Tips for journaling Bitvavo trades
- Bitvavo keys can only be created on the website, with 2FA on. Tick View and nothing else.
- Bitvavo's fees drop as your 30-day volume grows. Check your fee column each month to see where your tier lands.
- Mark trades that came from a plan versus a price alert. Euro spot traders often find the alert trades lose money.
How to sync your Bitvavo trades
- 1 Log in to Bitvavo (https://bitvavo.com/) on the web and make sure two-factor authentication is on.
- 2 Go to Settings > API and click Add new API key.
- 3 Tick only the View permission. Do not tick Trade or Withdraw.
- 4 Confirm, then copy the API key and secret.
- 5 In EdgeDojo, open Journal → Import Trades → Connected accounts, choose Bitvavo, paste the credentials and click Connect & sync.
