Blockchain.com is best known for its wallet, and its Exchange adds an order book for spot trading. EdgeDojo connects with a read-only Blockchain.com Exchange API key and imports your trades into one journal, with P&L and fees on every trade.
Sync after your session and the day's trades are ready to review.
Tips for journaling Blockchain.com trades
- Leave trading and withdrawals off when you create the key. A journal only needs to read your history.
- Keep wallet transfers out of your trade review. Journal the Exchange fills, and judge each one on its own plan.
- Write your exit plan before you buy, and note on each exit whether you followed it.
How to sync your Blockchain.com trades
- 1 Log in to Blockchain.com (https://blockchain.com) and open your account's API management page.
- 2 Create a new API key.
- 3 Give the key read-only / view permission only. Do not enable trading, transfers, or withdrawals. EdgeDojo only reads your trade history.
- 4 If asked to restrict IP addresses, leave the key unrestricted (it can only read). Some exchanges expire unrestricted keys (often after 90 days); if that happens, create a new key and reconnect.
- 5 In EdgeDojo, open Journal → Import Trades → Connected accounts, choose Blockchain.com, paste the credentials and click Connect & sync.
