Tips for journaling Luno trades
- Name the key "EdgeDojo" so you know what it is for when you review your API keys later.
- Compare trades placed on the exchange with instant buys. The instant-buy spread is a cost even when no fee is shown.
- Log the local currency price and the USD price on big entries. Currency moves can make a good trade look bad, or the other way round.
How to sync your Luno trades
- 1 Log in to Luno (https://www.luno.com) and open your account's API management page.
- 2 Create a new API key.
- 3 Give the key read-only / view permission only. Do not enable trading, transfers, or withdrawals. EdgeDojo only reads your trade history.
- 4 If asked to restrict IP addresses, leave the key unrestricted (it can only read). Some exchanges expire unrestricted keys (often after 90 days); if that happens, create a new key and reconnect.
- 5 In EdgeDojo, open Journal → Import Trades → Connected accounts, choose Luno, paste the credentials and click Connect & sync.
