Bitrue lists a wide range of altcoins next to its USDT-margined perpetuals, so a single account can hold dozens of small positions at once. EdgeDojo connects with a read-only Bitrue API key and imports spot and perpetual fills into one journal, with P&L and fees per trade.
Sync after your session and review the day while it is still fresh.
Tips for journaling Bitrue trades
- Bitrue sends an email confirmation link after you create a key. The key is not active until you click it.
- Group altcoin trades by sector or narrative with tags. You will see quickly which themes actually pay you.
- Track position size as a percent of your account, not in coins. Low-priced tokens make size easy to misjudge.
How to sync your Bitrue trades
- 1 Log in to Bitrue, make sure Google Authenticator is bound under Account Security, then click your avatar and open API.
- 2 Create a new API key and enter a note name for it. Confirm with your authenticator code.
- 3 Open the confirmation link Bitrue emails you to finish creating the key.
- 4 Set the key to read-only. Do not enable trading or withdrawals, and leave IP access unrestricted.
- 5 Copy the API Key and Secret Key. The secret is shown only once.
- 6 In EdgeDojo, open Journal → Import Trades → Connected accounts, choose Bitrue, paste the credentials and click Connect & sync.
- Funding payments are not imported from Bitrue yet, so perp P&L excludes funding.
