BTSE runs spot and futures on one account, so traders can move between a spot hedge and a leveraged position without switching platforms. EdgeDojo connects with a read-only BTSE API key and imports spot, perpetual, and dated futures fills into one journal, with P&L and fees.
Sync after your session instead of piecing trades together from order history.
Tips for journaling BTSE trades
- Give the BTSE key the Read permission only. Trading and Transfer are separate permissions and EdgeDojo needs neither.
- Sync often. Exchange APIs keep a limited window of trade history, and regular syncs keep your journal complete.
- Journal hedges as linked trades. A spot buy and a short perp opened together are one idea, not two.
How to sync your BTSE trades
- 1 Log in to BTSE, click Account in the top right, and open the API tab.
- 2 Click New API and give the key a name.
- 3 Select the Read permission only. Leave Trading and Transfer unticked.
- 4 Complete the 2FA and email confirmation if asked, then copy the API Key and the secret/passphrase. BTSE shows it only once.
- 5 In EdgeDojo, open Journal → Import Trades → Connected accounts, choose BTSE, paste the credentials and click Connect & sync.
- Funding payments are not imported from BTSE yet, so perp P&L excludes funding.
