BYDFi, formerly BitYard, is an offshore exchange with hundreds of perpetual contracts and copy trading alongside its spot market. EdgeDojo connects with a read-only BYDFi API key and imports your perpetual fills into one journal, with P&L and fees on every trade.
Sync after your session and your trades are ready to review.
Tips for journaling BYDFi trades
- BYDFi read-only keys with no IP address bound expire after 3 months. Put a reminder in your calendar to create a new one.
- Only perpetual trades come through the BYDFi API. Log spot buys separately if you want them in the same journal.
- Review trades where you moved your stop. On high-leverage perps, a moved stop is usually where a small loss became a big one.
How to sync your BYDFi trades
- 1 Log in to BYDFi and complete identity verification and Google 2FA if you have not already.
- 2 If BYDFi asks you to apply for API access, submit the request and wait for approval.
- 3 Click your profile icon, open API Management, and click Create API.
- 4 Tick Read only, confirm with your email and Google 2FA codes, and copy the API key and secret. The secret is shown only once.
- 5 In EdgeDojo, open Journal → Import Trades → Connected accounts, choose BYDFi, paste the credentials and click Connect & sync.
- Funding payments are not imported from BYDFi yet, so perp P&L excludes funding.
