CoinEx lists many smaller coins and runs perpetual futures next to its spot markets, which draws traders who hunt early moves. EdgeDojo connects with a read-only CoinEx API key and imports your spot and perpetual fills into one journal, with P&L and fees on every trade.
After your session, click Sync and the trades are waiting.
Tips for journaling CoinEx trades
- CoinEx keys with no IP bound expire after 90 days. Click Renew on the API Management page before then to keep syncing.
- CoinEx has no Read tick box. A key with Withdraw and Trade both unticked can only read.
- Log the liquidity of each small-cap entry. Slippage on thin books is a real cost your plan should include.
How to sync your CoinEx trades
- 1 Log in to CoinEx, hover over the avatar in the top right, and select API Management.
- 2 Click Create API and enter an API remark.
- 3 Leave Withdraw and Trade unticked so the key can only read. Leave the IP field empty.
- 4 Confirm with your 2FA code, then copy the Access ID and Secret Key. The key takes effect within 10 to 15 minutes.
- 5 In EdgeDojo, open Journal → Import Trades → Connected accounts, choose CoinEx, paste the credentials and click Connect & sync.
- Funding payments are not imported from CoinEx yet, so perp P&L excludes funding.
