HitBTC is one of the older exchanges still running, with a very long list of spot pairs and a set of perpetual futures. EdgeDojo connects with a read-only HitBTC API key and imports spot and perpetual fills into one journal, with P&L and fees on every trade.
Sync after your session instead of exporting reports by hand.
Tips for journaling HitBTC trades
- HitBTC keys have no trading rights by default. Tick only Orderbook, History, Trading balance and leave the rest off.
- Trade many pairs? Filter your journal by quote currency. BTC-quoted and USDT-quoted results can tell very different stories.
- Review trades that hit your target and trades that missed it with the same care. Both teach you about your sizing.
How to sync your HitBTC trades
- 1 Log in to HitBTC and open Settings, then API keys.
- 2 Click New API key.
- 3 Tick Orderbook, History, Trading balance only. Leave Place/cancel orders, Withdraw cryptocurrencies, and Payment information off.
- 4 Confirm with 2FA if asked and copy the API key and Secret key.
- 5 In EdgeDojo, open Journal → Import Trades → Connected accounts, choose HitBTC, paste the credentials and click Connect & sync.
- Funding payments are not imported from HitBTC yet, so perp P&L excludes funding.
