Phemex is a derivatives-first exchange with high-rate-limit API access, popular with active perp and bot traders. EdgeDojo connects with a read-only Phemex API key and imports your spot and perpetual fills into one journal, with P&L and fees on every trade.
Sync after your session and review while the trades are still fresh.
Tips for journaling Phemex trades
- Choose Read-Only when you create the Phemex key. It can view your account but cannot place orders or withdraw.
- If you run bots on Phemex, tag bot trades separately so they do not blur the stats on your own decisions.
- Track fees as a share of gross P&L each week. On frequent perp trades, that number is worth watching.
How to sync your Phemex trades
- 1 Log in to Phemex, hover over your account name in the top right, and click API Management.
- 2 Click Create New API Key and choose the Default API entry.
- 3 Enter a name, then choose the Read-Only permission. Leave the IP address field empty.
- 4 Click Confirm, enter the email verification code, and copy the API ID and API Secret. The key is shown only once.
- 5 In EdgeDojo, open Journal โ Import Trades โ Connected accounts, choose Phemex, paste the credentials and click Connect & sync.
- Funding payments are not imported from Phemex yet, so perp P&L excludes funding.
