Poloniex is one of the longer-running crypto exchanges. EdgeDojo connects with a read-only Poloniex API key and imports your trades into one journal, with P&L and fees on every trade.
Sync after your session and the day's trades are ready to review.
Tips for journaling Poloniex trades
- Create a key just for EdgeDojo with read access only, so you can revoke it any time without breaking other tools.
- Write a one-line review after each losing day. Patterns show up faster in words than in charts.
- Tag each trade with its setup. After a month, compare which setups actually paid.
How to sync your Poloniex trades
- 1 Log in to Poloniex (https://www.poloniex.com) and open your account's API management page.
- 2 Create a new API key.
- 3 Give the key read-only / view permission only. Do not enable trading, transfers, or withdrawals. EdgeDojo only reads your trade history.
- 4 If asked to restrict IP addresses, leave the key unrestricted (it can only read). Some exchanges expire unrestricted keys (often after 90 days); if that happens, create a new key and reconnect.
- 5 In EdgeDojo, open Journal → Import Trades → Connected accounts, choose Poloniex, paste the credentials and click Connect & sync.
- Funding payments are not imported from Poloniex yet, so perp P&L excludes funding.
