WEEX is a derivatives-first exchange known for futures and copy trading, with a spot market on the side. EdgeDojo connects with a read-only WEEX API key and imports spot and perpetual fills into one journal, with P&L and fees on every trade.
Sync after your session and the day's trades are ready to review.
Tips for journaling Weex trades
- New WEEX keys can take about 15 minutes to become active. If your first sync fails, wait and try again before creating another key.
- Write down the passphrase when you create the key. WEEX cannot recover it, and a lost passphrase means a new key.
- Split copy trades from your own in your journal. Following a lead trader is a different skill from picking entries yourself.
How to sync your Weex trades
- 1 Log in to WEEX on the website, open your profile menu, and go to API Management.
- 2 Click Create New API, enter a name, and set a passphrase using letters and numbers. Keep it; you will need it to connect.
- 3 Keep the permission on Read for both spot and futures. Leave Trade unticked.
- 4 Copy the API key and secret. The secret is shown only once. If WEEX asks you to complete an API activation form, submit it before connecting.
- 5 In EdgeDojo, open Journal → Import Trades → Connected accounts, choose Weex, paste the credentials and click Connect & sync.
- Funding payments are not imported from Weex yet, so perp P&L excludes funding.
